Day 1: Stir-fry Veggies



This is a delayed post.  It should've been posted yesterday.  Well, better late than never.

Have fun cooking!


  • Cabbage
  • Sweet potato (kamote)
  • Potato
  • Baguio beans
  • Red onion, chopped
  • White onion, chopped
  • Garlic, minced
  • Okra (Optional.  See Notes section)
  • 1 Tbsp. veggie paste
  • 1/2 tsp. chili paste
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper, freshly ground is the best 
  • Coconut oil


  1. Clean and prepare all the vegetables.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a pan.  Saute garlic until slightly brown.
  3. Add onion.  Cook until translucent.
  4. Add potato and sweet potato.  Cook until until tender.
  5. Add baguio beans and cabbage.
  6. Turn heat to low.  Don't overcook cabbage.  
  7. Add veggie paste and chili paste.
  8. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Enjoy!


  • Okra is cooked separately.  It is actually for side dish.  To cook okra, we just place it on our rice few minutes before turning off heat
  • Side dish is sliced raw tomatoes and steamed okra.
